In 2008 the US Navy released the 6th version of its Diving Manual (available here ), with the new diving tables, the tool that introduced every diver to concepts like Residual Nitrogen Time, Surface time, Exit Group, Deco Stops and so on. This new version of MobiDeco, the recreational dive planner for mobile phones, takes in account these new tables and implements the new diving procedure as described in this revision of the manual. |

MobiDeco 1.0 finally available!SummaryMobiDeco is a recreational dive planner specifically designed for mobile phones or portable devices. It uses the USNavy93 NOAA tables to compute the decompression info of square profile dives. Who can use it?MobiDeco helps the traditional table calculation upon USNavy tables, and it's dedicated to all those scuba divers who plan and verify their dives, gaining an higher safety level. When do I use MobiDeco?MobiDeco takes place of the well-known tables.
You can use it before diving, to quickly plan your dive. It is very easy to learn and use: the creation of several alternative profiles, a good practice that sets an higher safety level, is very simple and quick.
MobiDeco can be used after the dive, to fill your logbook pages with data you cannot have from your dive computer (eg. the RNF), to compare your real dive and the corresponding square dive, to verify your breath consumption vs. the standard consumption.
And, if a scuba phone will ever be available, you can use it underwater......
